My sister Lauren gave me this fabulous high-low skirt for Christmas and she totally caught me by surprise with it! You see, I'm one of those persons that asks for a lot of little specific things when it comes to gift ideas. So when someone goes "off the beaten path" and gets me something totally unexpected it really is a lovely thing. To me that means that they didn't just grab something off a list (which is still perfectly fine...I mean, that's why we write them anyway ;) but that they really took the time and effort to think about the persons taste and what they would like. And I guess it's no surprise that my sister knows me pretty well because this skirt is like a whimsical dream come true!
