awkward and awesome thursday

Awkward:

-that moment where you and the person in the next booth are facing each other...."Hi stranger. Don't look at me and I won't look at you. Ok?" 

-opened a cabinet to have a lighter falling on my head. 

-recitals...they just are. 

-made this /\ mug for my Dad and realized only after I'd finished that I painted it on the wrong side. Oh well, I guess it'll be his speacial lefty mug.
-realizing that I forgot to flip the picture up there. No it does not say "rehtaf" it says "father" ;)

-having the exact same Sears guy come to our house like 5 different time this month to fix our water softener. It was probably more awkward for him, come to think of it, than for us. 

-the orthodontist. People sticking their hands in your mouth is always kind of awkward.
-take a look at google today....it's weird.

Awesome:

-having a literal breakfast feast at Corner Bakery with my sister Lauren. There was steel-cut oatmeal. There was coffee cake. There were avocado and egg panini sandwiches. Oh, and a truffle mocha coffee to share. I swear I have never eaten a bigger breakfast in my LIFE!

-her blog. I simply adore this woman and her crazy adorable work.

-iPhoto Faces thought that Jessica Brown Findley was me and that made me very happy x)

-visited this adorable reto auto museum in Volo for my dad's birthday on Saturday. I really wanted to take a spin in the mint green 1950's model.
-American eagle socks. They are seriously just the best!

-bagels and cooffee with mom than going to an amazing antique store.

-secretaries at the orthodontist raving about how much they love my name. They are the cutest!

-the word "aesthetic".
-my friend randomly buying my sisters and I Chick-fil-a fries and a shake.
-being told by one of my awesome readers, Becky, that I remind her of Jennifer Lawrence. Totally flattered!

-this wedding video. Watch it. NOW. Seriously. You need to.
